DW Primary Languages is a well-established service providing support to schools, enabling high quality Primary Foreign Language teaching and learning.
A skilled Primary Practitioner and Subject Leader, Dawn has experience of all Primary phases, giving her a firm understanding of progression in learning and an insight into the priorities and challenges faced by schools. She is a passionate linguist, having studied German, French and Spanish at Sheffield University and she is a strong advocate of supporting all class-teachers to become skilled and confident teachers of languages. Currently working part-time as an Upper Key Stage Two teacher in Stockport, Dawn also supports colleagues in schools across the Greater Manchester region, providing CPD and team-teaching opportunities working closely with Odette Hunt. Prior to teaching, Dawn was a Human Resources Manager, specialising in Training and Professional Development.
